New customer

If this is the first time you have ordered products from NIBSC you will need to fill out a new customer accounts form and an order form. Once you are registered on the NIBSC database and have been given an customer code you will be able to use the online ordering facility for future orders. Please note you will also need to provide us with your email address which will act as your password.

Find the product that you want to order

You can find recent seasonal and pandemic reagents in the updates section and the pandemic reagents section of this website.

In addition, to make finding the right reference material easier, the NIBSC site allows you to search for them in three ways.

If you already know exactly what you want to order, the easiest way to find it is to type its name or allocated code number in any of the search boxes around the website.

Alternatively, if you know the type of product that you are looking for but are not sure on the name you can have a browse through our online catalogue which is split into seven different product areas.

Or the other method, which may be useful if you know roughly what the name is, is to search via the alphabetical listing.

If you can't find what you are looking for email us with your query at standards@nibsc.ac.uk.

To get more information on a product then please download the product data sheet on the product information page which will provide you with instructions for use. To do this you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. If you do not have it you can download it free by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.

Add selected products to your order form

Once you have found the product you are looking for, click on the product to select it, then simply click the 'Order Online' button on the product page and you will be asked to log into your account. You should be able to do this easily by entering your customer number (in capital letters & numbers) and your email address as your password. If however, you have any problems please contact our support team at standards@nibsc.ac.uk.

Once you have successfully logged in your selected product will be saved on your order form. Your order form can be viewed at any time by clicking 'Your Order'. From the order form you can change the quantities of the product you have selected or delete a product if you change your mind before confirming the order.
