Donating Samples

The NIBSC CJD Resource Centre is constantly on the look out for new and exciting CJD-related reagents to meet the research demands of scientists working in this progressive field.

Some reagents are developed at the CJD Resource Centre or are purchased commercially, though for the main, repository reagents are obtained through the kind generosity of many scientists who donate unique and innovative reagents to the Centre.

In order to maintain the high variety of reagents available, researchers are encouraged to consider any reagents in their possession that may be appropriate to the Programme. We are always happy to discuss the suitability of reagents, however small or novel, and equally are happy to discuss the reagent needs of fellow researchers to facilitate their own research projects. Scientists should contact the NIBSC CJD Resource Centre using the information on the contact details page.
