As there is no potency test for Hib vaccines, an immunogenicity model has been developed at NIBSC to investigate and understand immune interaction between Hib and other components of combined vaccines. This model is being used successfully for pre-clinical evaluation of various Hib and Hib-containing combined vaccines.
