Because of our experience in haemostasis and fibrinolysis NIBSC is involved with manufacturers and regulators worldwide. 

For example we have contributed to the development of testing on thrombolytic agents used to break down blood clots. 

We are happy to work with manufacturers on assay development and standardisation projects and have had successful collaborations with many groups worldwide to troubleshoot problems and develop new standards.
