NIBSC is responsible for the development of Reference Materials for quality and safety control of gene therapy products based on a range of viral vectors. NIBSC contributes to the EMEA/GTWP work program and ICH guidance for Advance Therapies. NIBSC is also a member of OMCL gene therapy network for establishing and harmonizing   testing methods for gene therapy products.
