What's happening at NIBSC

The National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC) is a centre of the Health Protection Agency (HPA), and its mission is to assure the quality of biological medicines.

If we have carried out batch release testing for your company the NIBSC invites you to participate in our “customer satisfaction survey”, your feedback is greatly valued to allow us to continually monitor and improve our services.
If you are customer of NIBSC Reference Standards the NIBSC invites you to participate in our “customer satisfaction survey, your feedback is greatly valued to allow us to continually monitor and improve our services.
NIBSC is now in receipt of two Influenza A(H1N1) virus samples isolated in California (obtained from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the USA) and one isolated in the UK and work on developing candidate vaccine viruses is ongoing.
NIBSC will be attending Analytica (an international trade fair for analysis, laboratory-technology and biotechnology)
